Manuscript Preparation

1. General Guidelines

Please download the following template and format your paper accordingly.

Manuscripts should be written in English. Any consistent spelling and punctuation style is acceptable. Use double quotation marks, except when a quote is within a quote (e.g., “a quotation ‘within’ a quotation”). Long quotations (40 words or more) should be indented without quotation marks.

A typical manuscript should be between 5000 and 8000 words, including tables, references, captions, footnotes, and endnotes. Manuscripts significantly exceeding this length will be critically reviewed regarding their length.

Manuscripts should be organized in the following order: title page, abstract, keywords, main text, acknowledgements, references, and appendices (if applicable).

An abstract of 160 words is required for all submissions. Each manuscript should include 5 keywords. Section headings should be brief.

The cover page must list the full names, affiliations, postal addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of all authors. One author should be designated as the corresponding author. The affiliation at the time of the research should be provided. If a co-author's affiliation changes during the review process, the new affiliation can be noted as a footnote. No affiliation changes are allowed post-acceptance. The corresponding author's email address will typically be displayed in the PDF and online article.

All individuals who have a legitimate claim to authorship must be listed as co-authors. The corresponding author must have the consent of all co-authors to act on their behalf in all publication matters, and the authorship order should be mutually agreed upon.

Acknowledgement of funding and grants should be detailed on the title page in a separate paragraph:

  • For single agency grants: "This work was supported by [Funding Agency] under Grant [number xxxx]."
  • For multiple agency grants: "This work was supported by [Funding Agency 1] under Grant [number xxxx]; [Funding Agency 2] under Grant [number xxxx]; and [Funding Agency 3] under Grant [number xxxx]."

Authors must also include a Disclosure Statement acknowledging any financial interest or benefit arising from the direct applications of their research.

Non-discriminatory language is mandatory. Sexist or racist terms must not be used. When using a proprietary term or trademark, use the symbols ® or TM.
